Option 1: Implemented over a 3 month period, 2-3 weekends per month, from June through September 1st, 2018.

Options 2: Student will complete the first 100 hours, 2-3 weekends per month, in June and July and will complete the last 100 hours for 10 days in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua in October

Sanctioned by both US and Canadian Yoga Alliances.  Assessments are finalized by Irum Naqvi, Director of the Center for Natural Living, and Jo Ann Staugaard-Jones, a professor of Kinesiology & Dance and author of anatomy books through Lotus Publishing and North Atlantic Book.

In this training you will engage in intense physical practice and thought provoking discussions that guide you to explore your inner being; discovering your true self as you bring your awareness to your layers of conditionings and deep seated impressions/Samskaras. The transformation will leave you energized, confident and ready to follow your inner calling. You will learn how to teach, and guide a yoga session which is built on the foundation of your own practice.

Jo Ann’s new book, “The Concise Book of Yoga Anatomy” will be taught by the author herself.  

You will learn the yoga philosophy of Sri Patanjali.  Pranayama, Bandhas, Energy Bodies and Energy Systems (chakras).

Techniques and Methodology: Learn the techniques of asanas, how to design and deliver a yoga session.  Practice daily meditation and learn how to guide a meditation session.
